Believe in the God Who Does Great Things

by perfectinchristjesuslife community

There are moments in life when our problems seem too large, our circumstances too difficult, and our future too uncertain. We may look at a situation and say, “How can this ever change?”

But the Word of God reminds us of something powerful:

Nothing is too difficult for God.

The God we worship is not limited by human ability, circumstances, time, or impossibility. He is the God who does great things, wonderful things, miraculous things, and things beyond human understanding.

Believe in the Power of God

Before we see God work, we must first believe in who He is.

It is not enough simply to say, “God can do anything.” We must know His power and trust Him from the depths of our hearts.

The Bible continually shows us that God is able to do what human beings cannot do. He can change circumstances, open doors, make a way where there seems to be no way, and bring hope into situations that appear completely finished.

The testimony of Scripture is clear:

Our God is a great God.

He is able to do things that we cannot even imagine.

Job declared that God does “great things” that are beyond our ability to comprehend and wonders that cannot be counted.

That means the limitations we see are not limitations for God.

God Can Change Your Situation

Perhaps today you are facing a situation that looks like a mountain.

Maybe it concerns your family.

Maybe it concerns your children.

Maybe it concerns your work, business, finances, future, or relationships.

Perhaps you have prayed about the same matter for a long time and nothing seems to be changing.

Do not allow the appearance of the situation to determine the strength of your faith.

God can change the situation.

The transcript repeatedly emphasizes that the Lord can work even where there appears to be no human solution. When there is no person to help, God can provide a way. When there is no visible answer, He can create one.

Isaiah 43:19 gives us a beautiful reminder:

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth.”

God is not limited to repeating yesterday’s story.

He can do a new thing in your life.

Place Your Problem in God’s Hands

One of the strongest lessons from the message is this:

Do not carry alone what you can place into God’s hands.

The servants of God in Scripture brought their real circumstances before Him.

They prayed honestly.

They cried out to Him.

They confessed their struggles.

They placed their burdens before Him.

The message refers to Jeremiah’s words:

“I have committed my cause unto thee.”

What does that mean?

It means that after you have done what you can do, you can surrender the matter to God and say:

“Lord, this is now in Your hands.”

You do not have to pretend that everything is fine.

You can tell God exactly what you are facing.

Tell Him about your fear.

Tell Him about your disappointment.

Tell Him about your family.

Tell Him about your work.

Tell Him about your future.

Tell Him about the mistake you made.

Tell Him about the situation you do not understand.

God already knows—but prayer is an act of surrender and trust.

Pray With Faith

There is tremendous power in united prayer.

Jesus taught:

“If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”

When a family comes together and brings its situation before God, it is demonstrating that its confidence is not ultimately in human strength, but in the Lord.

The transcript strongly encourages families to pray together and place their problems before God’s presence.

Do not underestimate the power of a praying family.

Do not underestimate the power of a praying church.

Do not underestimate the power of a believer who refuses to give up.

God Can Answer Suddenly

Sometimes we think God needs years to solve what troubles us.

But Scripture shows us that God can move suddenly.

Nehemiah prayed for favor before the king, asking God to make his request successful. The answer came with remarkable speed when the king asked him what he wanted.

The lesson is not that every prayer will be answered instantly.

Rather, it is that God is never limited by the amount of time we think an answer requires.

What seems impossible for us can be simple for Him.

What looks like a mountain can become a plain.

What appears to be the end can become the beginning of a new chapter.

Do Not Give Up Because of Delay

One of the greatest dangers in prayer is becoming discouraged because the answer has not yet appeared.

But delay does not mean abandonment.

Silence does not mean God has stopped working.

Sometimes God is working in ways we cannot see.

Sometimes He is teaching us.

Sometimes He is preparing us.

Sometimes He is preparing the circumstances around us.

And sometimes He is simply asking us to continue trusting Him.

The message reminds us that God does not become weary or abandon His work. He continues to work until His purpose is accomplished.

So do not interpret the delay as defeat.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting.

Your Mountain Is Not Greater Than Your God

Maybe your problem looks like a mountain today.

But remember:

The mountain is not greater than the God who created it.

Your financial problem is not greater than God.

Your family problem is not greater than God.

Your opposition is not greater than God.

Your uncertainty is not greater than God.

Your past is not greater than God.

Your future is not greater than God.

The transcript reminds us of the prophetic picture of a great mountain becoming a plain before God’s work.

What looks impossible in front of you can become a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

Believe That God Can Do Great Things

The central message is simple:

Believe in the God you worship.

Believe that He can do great things.

Believe that He can do miraculous things.

Believe that He can do things beyond human understanding.

Believe that He can make a way.

Believe that He can change circumstances.

Believe that He can open doors.

Believe that He can restore what has been broken.

And when you have placed your situation before Him, do not keep carrying it as though God never heard your prayer.

Give it to Him.

The God who performed miracles in Scripture has not become powerless.

He is still God.

He is still faithful.

He is still able.

And He is still worthy of your trust.

A Prayer of Surrender

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with every burden, every fear, every unanswered question, and every situation that I cannot solve by my own strength.

I believe that You are a great God.

I believe that nothing is too difficult for You.

I place my family, my future, my work, my relationships, my needs, and every difficult situation into Your hands.

Where I cannot see a way, make a way.

Where I see a mountain, give me faith to believe that You can move it.

Where I am discouraged, strengthen me.

Where I am afraid, give me peace.

Where I have failed, give me grace to rise again.

Help me not to lose faith because of delay.

Teach me to trust Your timing and Your purpose.

I believe that You are able to do great things, wonderful things, miraculous things, and things beyond my understanding.

I surrender my cause to You.

I will trust You.

I will continue to pray.

I will continue to believe.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
