    Life of Prayer

    by perfectinchristjesuslife community

Prayer has a method and a preparation. Before we begin to pray, we should remove all personal concerns from our hearts—doubts about God, worries, troubles, challenges, past failures, sadness, and any feelings that displease God. When we come before God with a clear and focused heart, He can begin to work through our prayer.

    The Bible reminds us:

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” — James 1:6 (KJV)

When we pray with true faith and take action to strengthen our prayers, we begin to see God’s work and miracles unfold.

When praying with others, unity in faith is important. Everyone should come together without doubt, believing that God hears and answers prayer.

Kneeling before God during prayer creates a special connection. Kneeling is an act of humility and surrender before Him. In that posture, our hearts become ready for God to work within us.

Prayer is also the moment when we declare and hold firmly to God’s Word. It is through prayer that our faith grows stronger and our trust in God deepens.

Above all, we must believe that God is able to do what we ask and that He hears and answers our prayers.
